FAQs
What is the pack walk schedule?
Pack walks are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Dogs are out with the pack for on average of 4-5 hours each day. Pick-ups and drop-offs are included in our pricing, and occur between 9-11am and 2-4 pm respectively.
We adapt our schedule as needed on a day-to-day basis to accommodate variables like pack sizes, weather and integrating new members, but each day consists of a pack walk as well as time to socialize off-leash in the yard.
How do I know if my dog is ready for pack walks?
Contact us! We perform one-on-one initial assessments to meet you and your dog and determine if the pack is the right fit for you, and identify the best process to integrate your dog into our program.
We teach our pack members:
How to walk on a loose leash
To relax in the car or crate
Basic cues such as Yes, Come, Let’s Go, Leave It, OK, Enough
What if my dog isn’t ready for the pack walk?
We will work with dogs on an individual basis to give them the tools and understanding to fully enjoy the pack and everything it has to offer. Using training to develop a relationship of communication and cooperation, many dogs who have struggled with over-excitement, lack of socialization and reactivity are able to successfully integrate with the pack.
If your dog needs extra support before joining the pack or for whom the pack is not the best fit, we offer private training to work dogs into the pack or can provide references to other behavior, walking or daycare services. Our priority is that you and your dog’s unique needs be met, be it with us or another trusted professional service.
When can I start booking boarding stays?
Our boarding service is available to you once your dog is fully integrated into the pack and has been taught the foundational skills of our program (see ‘Is my dog ready?’ above).
We recommend booking holiday stays in advance as we have a capacity limit of 4 dogs/night. For stays that include holidays or that are booked over a month in advance, a non-refundable one-night deposit is required.
